Is your boiler faulty?
Small boiler faults can lead to big issues that can pose a major health risk to your family. A smooth running boiler is essential to help reduce your energy and maintenance bills.
Whether your boiler is leaking, has low pressure, a faulty pilot light, a broken thermostat, or simply isn’t working as it should, we’ll quickly diagnose the problem and find a solution. We specialise in diagnosing and repairing all types of faults, on all types of boilers.
Landlords’ safety checks
If you’re a landlord, it’s a legal requirement to have a ‘gas check’ / landlords safety inspection every 12 months, for rented properties containing gas appliances. The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations state that landlords must only use a Gas Safe registered engineer.

We will undertake a full inspection of all fixed gas appliances at your property, which can be combined with a full annual gas boiler service.
Powerflushing
If your heating is slow to warm up or you’ve noticed cold spots in your radiators, it could be due to the build up of sludge and limescale deposits in your heating system and boiler.
Our power flushing service will put things right. The highly effective process involves shooting water at a high velocity (but low pressure so it won’t damage your system) to get your heating running as good as new.

Carrying out a powerflush can dramatically improve the performance and efficiency of a central heating system. Cleaning out any sludge that may have built up over time from within the system can also prolong the life of your boiler and greatly reduce the risk of a breakdown.

We use the Norstorm machine and chemicals for powerflushing central heating and boilers. If you have more than 12 radiators connected to your central heating system we will need to undertake a Survey & Quote visit to assess your heating system and provide a quote for the power flushing.

We encourage all customers to consider having a magnetic system filter fitted immediately following the deep clean of the system. This ensures ongoing filtering of the circulating central heating water and long term health of the boiler and system.
Need a service?
Regular servicing of a boiler can maintain the efficiency and help it to operate at its optimum performance. The newer the boiler the more efficient it will be.

Hyde Heating & Plumbing offer servicing and maintenance on all domestic natural gas boilers, leaving you with a visit service/maintenance checklist. A boiler service normally takes between 40-60 mins.

Need to book an annual boiler service?
If your boiler is still under warranty then it will need to be serviced at least once a year to maintain the manufacturers guarantee. It is also recommended good practice to service all boilers annually to make sure they function correctly with optimum performance and safety.
